My Story

I spent years fighting my body.
Then I learned to work with it.

This is the honest version. No highlight reel. Just the real journey — and why it drives everything I do as a coach.

Hey — I'm glad you're here.

I didn't start sharing online because I had everything figured out.

I started sharing because for most of my life, I was struggling with my body — and I know I'm not alone in that.

I was the girl who developed too early.

By 5th grade my body was already changing in ways my friends' weren't. My weight was climbing. My mom worried, but no one really knew what to do — or what to say.

What I remember most from those years isn't the number on the scale. It's the feeling of being different.

I avoided mirrors.
I avoided cameras.
I spent a lot of time wondering why my body felt like the enemy.

"I spent years wondering why my body felt like the enemy. It took me a long time to realize it never was."

The red dress.

One moment that still sticks with me: my 9th-grade dance. I wore a red dress, and when I saw the photos afterward, I felt completely disgusted with myself.

That moment pushed me into a decision that I thought was a solution.

I stopped eating.

As the weight dropped, people started noticing me more. And in my teenage mind, that felt like winning. Like I had finally cracked the code.

But the reality was very different.

Most days my "diet" was two pretzel sticks and a Diet Coke. I was exhausted. Disconnected from my own body. Trapped in a cycle of obsessive thinking around food and weight that I didn't know how to get out of.

I battled eating disorders and extreme habits for years — desperately searching for a way to feel okay in my own skin.

"Extreme was never going to heal me. What I needed wasn't another plan. What I needed was balance."

The realization that changed everything.

Eventually — slowly, painfully, and with a lot of unlearning — I realized something that completely shifted my path:

The war with my body had to end.

Not because I gave up. But because the fight itself was the problem. Extreme restriction, extreme exercise, extreme thinking — none of it was ever going to get me to the place I actually wanted to be.

What I needed was something sustainable. Something I could live inside of. Something built on real health — not punishment.

That realization is what started my real wellness journey.

Who I became.

Today I'm a wife to a wonderful, Godly man, and a mama to four champion boys. I'm a Certified Health Coach, a Certified Personal Trainer, and I hold a Bachelor of Science in Health Education.

I've spent over 20 years helping women find healthy, realistic, sustainable ways to care for their bodies — without extremes. Because I know firsthand what those extremes cost.

And then I found the missing piece.

Even with all the knowledge, the credentials, and the years of experience — I was still hitting a wall. I was training consistently, eating well, doing everything right on paper. And I still couldn't get my body to fully respond the way I knew it should.

Then I added one thing.

A peptide.

And everything shifted.

55 lbs
Lost in 9 months — after adding peptides to an already-solid foundation of training and nutrition. Not a crash diet. Not an extreme plan. The right support, at the right time.

My energy came back. My inflammation dropped. My body finally started working with me instead of against me.

And that's when I knew I had to start teaching this to other women — especially women in their 40s who are doing everything right and still feeling stuck. Because that frustration? I know it intimately. And there's usually a missing piece.

What I teach — and how I coach.

I share what actually works:

Strength training built for your body at this stage of life. Real nutrition — not restriction. Peptide education that's honest, clear, and free of hype. Metabolism and hormone support, especially for perimenopause. And real conversations about what it actually looks like to care for yourself while raising a family and living a full life.

Because so many women in midlife feel caught between two impossible places — they want to feel confident in their body again, but they're exhausted from starving themselves, obsessing, or starting over with another extreme plan that was never built for them in the first place.

My approach is different. No extremes. No perfection. Just the right information, the right support, and a whole lot of honesty.

"And let's be very clear about one thing — if someone tells me I can never eat pizza again, I'm out."
